Applications
For use in internal wiring of switchboards, supervisory and annunciator circuits and all other industrial control apparatus. Type SIS for wiring switchboards and other industrial control panels in accordance with Article 384 of the National Electric Code. This switchboard wire is recognized by NEMA as approved wiring for switchgear.
Construction
Stranded tinned copper conductor, gray XLP flame-retardant cross-linked polyethylene insulation, surface printed.
Standards
- Conductors conform to ASTM B-3, B-8 & B-33.
- Conductors conform to UL Standard 44.
- Designed to pass vertical wire VW-1 flame test.
- Recognized by NEMA as approved wiring in switchgear.
- Complies with the requirements of OSHA when used in accordance with the National Electric Code.
