APPLICATIONS:
Where NEC jurisdiction applies; as Type USE-2 for direct burial, 90 deg.C. in wet locations; and as Type RHW-2, 90 deg.C. in wet locations, or Type RHH, 90 deg.C. in dry locations, installed in air, conduit, or other recognized raceway. Sizes 1/0 and larger may be installed in cable tray per Article 318 of NEC. Otherwise, for general purpose applications at maximum conductor temperature of 90 deg.C. locations – including conduit, duct, tray trough, direct burial, and aerial installations.

CONSTRUCTION:
Stranded tinned or bare copper conductor, black XLP insulation, surface printed.

STANDARDS:

• Conductors conform to ASTM B-3 & B-8 (& B-33 for tinned copper conductor).
• USE-2 Type ( 90 Deg.C. wet or dry), RHW-2 Type ( 90 Deg.C. wet or dry) or RHH ( 90 deg.C. dry) per UL Standard 44.
• TC Type Tray Cable per Article 336 of the NEC.
• Cables designed to pass the IEEE-383 ribbon burner flame test and UL 1277.
• Jacket suitable for sunlight resistant applications.
• Cables meet requirements of ICEA S-95-658/NEMA WC70.
